Since 1986, High Reach Learning has been enriching the lives of young children through imaginative materials. Written by early childhood educators and grounded in research, High Reach provides a wide range of materials focused on literacy, character education, language development, math, science, and more.
Learning begins at birth. High Reach curricula are built upon a flexible scope and sequence. Skills and concepts are developed sequentially with each new skill based on the foundation of previous learning. The curricula are also based on monthly themes that spark interest and curiosity in young children. Within each monthly theme, activities are organized into smaller units of related topics. A balance of child-initiated and teacher-facilitated activities helps children construct knowledge. Opportunities for character development are integrated throughout the curricula to help children become productive citizens.
High Reach Learning provides a wealth of materials for teachers and children to generate interest, encourage interaction, aid in knowledge construction, meet individual needs, and accommodate various learning styles. Current research suggests a childs success in grade school depends highly on what he or she already knows beforehand. High Reach Learning supports this finding and provides activities that encourage knowledge development in a developmentally appropriate manner. In addition, High Reach Learning activities and materials are presented in a fun interactive manner that makes learning enjoyable for young children.
For online learning, children can access ABC Mouse. ABC Mouse provides supplemental online learning for Preschool through Kindergarten age children.
